24 years after running the 40-yard dash in an extremely slow 5.28 seconds at the NFL Combine, Brady seemed to think it was time to make up for it.

Plus, the meet is going on right now in Indianapolis, so what better time than now to give it a try?

After taking a break from the photoshoot he was doing with NOBULL, the clothes brand he just invested in, Brady tried the 40.

“24 years later, redemption is spelled T O M,” the tweet’s title said. The New England Patriots star timed in at 5.12 and 5.18.Mike Repole, Brady’s business partner, joked later, “If you did that 25 years ago, you’d be picked in the third round.”

“That was enjoyable. Soon after, Brady said, “Next year it will be faster.”

Fans quickly said that Brady should make a return since he looked like he was still in great shape.

One person wrote, “Speed is ready for a comeback lolll.””Someone call Jerod Mayo, I think this guy could be the Patriots answer at QB,” he said.

“You can’t stay away from football. You can’t wait to get back on the field. “Get [Rob Gronkowski] ready too,” said a third.A fourth person just said, “Tom is like fine wine.”

But Brady hinted that he has bigger plans for 2025.

“Below $5.00 next year. Grow,” he wrote on Twitter.

Fans who want Brady to come back to the field may be let down, though, because he has repeatedly turned down those requests.

They will still see him a lot in the coming months.

Brady will start his job as a broadcaster this fall as Fox Sports’ lead analyst. The deal is said to be worth $375 million over ten years.

He might also be in charge of calling Super Bowl LIX, which Fox will show.
