Travis Kelce may be making the most of the NFL offseason, but the Chiefs tight end never forgets one bit of Andy Reid advice.
The main thing he advises is, “Don’t lose your personality. “Let that thing show,” the Kansas City star remarked of his coach in a behind-the-scenes video from a new ZenWTR commercial campaign.
Kelce also revealed his goal to win a fourth Super Bowl ring and his relationship with his teammates, notably Patrick Mahomes.
‘Having excellent family members and friends, I feel like it’s the most important thing in terms of growth, just having people around you who can check you but also give you affirmation and confidence that you’re doing things correctly,’ he stated.
‘Looking at the legacy, I just want to be remembered as someone who was selfless and sought to make a difference in the areas where he played.’
Kelce also described his typical practice regimen with the Chiefs.
‘My first hour is spent waking up, eating a decent, healthy breakfast, and fueling up. Know that I’m about to go out and work out here soon, and that I’ll have to be [attentive] in meetings and such,’ he explained.
‘So make sure I fuel myself, and that includes hydrating and doing the appropriate things,’ he said.
Kelce, who will return to the team for his tenth season as the league’s highest paid tight end, has been enjoying his offseason.
The sportsman, who signed a two-year contract worth $34.25 million in April, has been traveling around the world with his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
He just traveled to Europe to assist the pop queen on her record-breaking Eras Tour.
Over the weekend, Kelce was also seen taking a whiskey shot off a slice of bread in true southern style while enjoying his music event, Kelce Jam.
The week before, he tried his hand at acting on the set of Ryan Murphy’s new FX series, Grotesquerie.
‘It’s been so much fun,’ Travis told his brother, Jason Kelce, on the New Heights podcast.
‘I feel like a jabroni, an amateur, but I haven’t been fired yet,’ he added. ‘They didn’t tell me to f**king kick rocks after the first week.
