TRY HARD: Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons battles sumo wrestler in Tokyo on summer vacation trip

Micah Parsons, a Cowboys standout, is going beyond the field to better his football talents for the next season.

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year finalist and three-time Pro Bowler recently competed against a sumo wrestler in a viral video shot in Japan.

While on a trip of Asia with Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, Parsons faced a sumo wrestler in Tokyo.

In his first effort, the wrestler defeated Parsons by pushing outside the circular dohyo.

Stroud quickly teased him with a “too small” celebration, followed by a cradling baby motion, which the opposing wrestler replicated towards Parsons.

“Run it back,” the Cowboys’ star said. “I’m about to Һit legs every day.”

In the second round, Parsons gained his vengeаnce, yelling “Come on” in triumph before returning the “too small” gesture to the sumo wrestler.

Parsons is no stranger to the wrestling ring, having wrestled as a child and considering returning to the sport as a senior in high school while he was a Penn State football recruit, according to Penn Live.

His wrestling experience may have helped to his football success, and this season he hopes to record at least 13 sacks for the fourth year in a row.
