Patriots coach Jerod Mayo focusing on this aspect in rookie minicamp

According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, New England Patriots coach Jerod Mayo claims he has worked with the offense more than the defense thus far.


This is a development that was likely expected considering how poorly the Patriots’ offense performed the previous season. Drake Maye and Joe Milton III, two rookie quarterbacks, are the most recent additions to the team.

A large portion of the defense from the 2023 campaign is back. Along with those additions are defensive tackle Armon Watts, safety Jaylinn Hawkins, and linebacker Sione Takitaki.
