Some of Tom Brady’s closest friends, like David Beckham, are still checking in on him even though it’s been days since “GROAT: The Greatest Roast Of All Time: Tom Brady.”

In an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live! “on Wednesday, Beckham said he called the former NFL star to “see if he was OK.”

“The idea as a whole is pretty funny. It was really funny. Yes, Beckham said, “I did send Tom a message just to make sure he was okay. I know him well.”

“Is he OK?” It was Kimmel. 

Beckham said, “He’s fine, but it was hard to watch.” 

Soon after, Kimmel asked Beckham if he would be the subject of a roast any time soon. The former soccer player replied, “No, definitely not.”

Brady’s kids and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen were among the people who were hurt by the roast.

But it didn’t seem like the jokes were funny to the people who knew the former NFL player. A source told People magazine that the special has “affected” his two kids with Bündchen, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.

That said, Bündchen is “deeply disappointed” with the “disrespectful portrayal” of her family, but “her priority is to support her children” who were exposed to such “irresponsible content,” the source said.

A lot of jokes about Bündchen were direct jabs at her friendship with jujitsu teacher Joaquim Valente.

Brady joked that when he left the New England Patriots after 20 seasons, he left former coach Bill Belichick “high and dry” for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was the first joke in the roast.

People, you f—ed your teacher, but let me tell you something: that’s how you stay happy. You had to f— your coach sometimes. Who else s**ts their coach? Gisele. “She f—- that karate guy.””What a jеrk!” Why would you do that? He also said, “What an idiot!” and asked Brady why he was in the show.

Hart said, “God bless you, Tom.” “This is one of the smartest plays ever made by a quarterback. How did you not see this coming?” She goes to eight karate classes every day, but she’s still a white belt.
