This past weekend in Dallas, Dak Prescott was present at the annual Children’s Cаncer Fund Gala. He wasn’t the only quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys to be present. Troy Aikman, a three-time Suρer Bowl champion, posted a picture of the event on Instagram.
Aikman was seen in the post with Tony Romo, who played for the Dallas Cowboys for 14 seasons, and Prescott.
The post by Troy Aikman has received almost 35,000 likes and a variety of comments, including one from another well-known NFL quarterback. Tom Brady, a seven-time Suρer Bowl winner, took the time to remark on the picture of the three quarterbacks and expressed his admiration for it.
“Amazing!! Love it,” commented Tom Brady
As co-chairs of the gala, Prescott and Aikman also took part in the annual fashion show. The Children’s Cаncer Fund Gala exceeded its original $2 million goal by raising approximately $2.6 million. The proceeds from the dinner will finance patient care as well as research to aid in the bаttle against pediatric cаncer.
Dak Prescott addressed contract talks ahead of the Gala
Dak Prescott addressed the media at a press conference on Friday prior to the start of the evening event. Naturally, there was talk about the possibility of extending one’s contract with the Dallas Cowboys.
Prescott continued by telling reporters that he had no intention of becoming the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback. The quarterback understands that his teammates must receive compensation as well.
“I’m not necessarily aiming to be the highest paid person. I will thus hold off till the talks start. Dak Prescott stated, “I certainly want to put this team in the best scenario.
The 30-year-old has expressed to media that he wants to remain with the Dallas Cowboys, but he also stated that he will watch to see what occurs following the 2024 NFL season.
“I won’t claim that I’m afraid to be here. To be quite honest with you, I have no feаr of either scenario. It’s with the Dallas Cowboys at the moment. That’s the focal point, where I am, where I want to be. After this season, we’ll assess our current situation and see whether that remаins true going forward; if not, we’ll take it from there.”
