Patrick Mahomes is starting the week by taking the family to see the eclipse.
Brittany Mahomes posted footage of herself and her 28-year-old NFL player husband showing their kids the sky on Monday, April 8, during the complete solar eclipse on Instagram Stories. In one video, Patrick is seen holding Sterling Skye, his 3-year-old daughter, and the two of them are wearing safety goggles.
“What do you see, Sterling?” From behind the camera, Brittany asks the toddler.
The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs replies, “I see the moon,” as he looks up in amazement.
Additionally, Brittany shared the activities of their one and a half-year-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.
She added, “Meanwhile Bronze…,” over a picture of the infant curled up on the ground and utilizing a broom.
“They won’t wear glasses!” she added, pointing out that the dogs weren’t viewing the eclipse. Jokes from Brittany.
Later on in the Instagram Stories, as his daughter tries to stare at the sky without her glasses, Patrick is seen scurrying to shield her eyes from the light. As Patrick follows after Sterling, Brittany and “the whole crew” that joined them are giggling in the background.
On March 12, 2022, the couple who had been high school sweethearts tied the knot with their 1-year-old daughter. They revealed they were expecting their second child together two months later.
Before seeing the eclipse on Sunday, Lance Bass, a former member of *NSYNC, provided some safety advice from NASA.
The artist, who is on the board of the National Space Society, stated in a video clip that “solar eclipses are created during these celestial events, where the sun, Earth, and moon are in sync.” “During a total solar eclipse, you can stare straight at the sun, but only for a brief moment known as totality, when the moon totally covers the sun. This is a truly unique occasion.”
On Monday, Kelly Osbourne also posted a picture of herself and her partner Sid Wilson attending the event to Instagram.
