Travis Kelce had a very boyish Saturday because he went out for pizza with his pals and Taylor Swift was nowhere to be found.
Yesterday, the big Kansas City tight end made his way to Geraci’s Slice Shop in downtown Cleveland, where he used to frequent. The shop owners felt compelled to snap a picture of their native son.
In the picture, TK is positioned next to a vintage payphone in the store. In addition to hyping Travis, the store’s Instagram caption begs him to bring T-Swift into the restaurant the next time.
We spoke with an eyewitness who verified Swift’s absence and who told us Travis arrived in the afternoon with a few friends, all of whom were guys, and placed an order for some slices to go.
According to reports, Kelce ordered a slice of “Hot Tito” pepperoni, which has thick-cut pepperoni, sausage, romano, red sauce, mozzarella, and a hot honey drizzle. He was also described as being smooth and very down to earth. That is definitely a dinner fit for a champion!
Although our source claims Kelce has visited another location in town previously, he has never been to this particular location, so it appears he is familiar with the local chain.
Although the exact amount Travis spent is unknown, most slices run about $6, which is a pretty fair price for a guy who will make $12 million next season—not including sponsorship money—only $6.
The crux of the matter is that, apparently, Ohio is not home to Taylor Swift. The happy couple was reportedly having a great time on vacation in the Bahamas, so perhaps Tay had to return to work.
