Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, allegedly shut down Dogpound Gym for a private workout session, leaving gym members waiting outside. However, the gym has denied that its members were shut out for two hours.
Swift had rigorous workouts at Dogpound to prepare for her “Eras Tour”. After a romantic getaway to the Bahamas, the couple intends to “play house” in Swift’s mansion during their downtime.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly shut down a popular gym, Dogpound, in West Hollywood, California, leaving other gym members waiting outside for two hours until the celebrities finished their workout.
A news outlet obtained photos of some members standing outside the gym holding water bottles while appearing to wait to be let in.
However, a Dogpound representative who spoke with Page Six denied the claim, saying, “At DOGPOUND, we value our members’ experience and have never had anyone wait outside for 2 hours.”
“The Daily Mail’s article does not accurately reflect the events of that day. We respect our clients’ privacy and have no further comments to make,” the spokesperson added.
Following reports that Swift and Kelce had taken over a gym for a private workout, fans took to social media to label the couple as “entitled” and “elitist.”
On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote, “Really?” Is it necessary to go to a gym and shut everything down? There are other people on the planet [?].
Another X user commented, “Entitled. “Big time,” while a third commented, “Lol, nothing like the elite.”
One more person commented, “If I were a member of that gym, I would be furious!”
Swift revealed her rigorous fitness routine at DogPound, which included singing on the treadmill, weightlifting, and strength training, prior to embarking on “The Eras Tour” last March.
In a December interview with Time Magazine, the 34-year-old pop sensation emphasized the importance of physical preparation for the demanding tour, saying, “I knew this tour would be harder than anything I’d ever done before by a long shot.” For the first time, I was properly physically prepared.
She continued, “Every day, I would run on the treadmill while singing the entire set list aloud. Fast for fast songs, and jog or fast walk for slow songs.
