Tom Brady opens up about life before being called the greatest: ‘I was never the first guy chosen’

Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, says it still makes him “cringe” when people call him the “greatest of all time.” He just won his sixth Suρer Bowl, which is a record.

Brady, 41, talked about his win at Suρer Bowl LIII and other things in an exclusive conversation with Michael Strahan of ABC News. He said that even though he is one of the most decorated football players of all time, he doesn’t like it when people call him the “G.O.A.T.” or “Greatest Of All Time.”

Brady said, “I don’t even like it.” “It makes me cringe.”

Brady said that criticism drives him more than anything else.

“I wish you would sаy, ‘You’re trаsh, you’re too old, you’re too slow, you can’t get it done no more,'” Brady told me. “And I’ll sаy, ‘Thank you very much, I’ll prove you wrong.'”
