Arguably the most significant player on the most popular team in the nation’s most popular sport is Dak Prescott.
And he has succeeded in one of the hardest and most watched roles imaginable.
The 30-year-old product of Louisiana plays quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, a team that is so popular in the country that it has been referred to as “America’s Team.” Prescott has flourished in The Lone Star State as the starting quarterback when healthy; he was voted NFL оffensive Rookie of the Year in 2016 and has been nominated to the Pro Bowl thrice.
The Mississippi State alum has seen enormous financial advantages as a result of his on-field accomplishments. He has invested in promising businesses, signed huge NFL contracts, and secured rich endorsement deals.
Prescott has led an opulent life by using some of his milliоns. When he’s not giving it his all on the field, he owns a vast mansion next to the Cowboys’ home stadium, parks a collection of fast vehicles in his garage, and takes opulent vacations. Giving back has also become a top priority for him.

Dallas was prepared to select its next great star in the 2016 NFL Draft, with veteran quarterback Tony Romo getting ready to retire. The Cowboys chose to draft Prescott in the fourth round, while briefly considering trading up for some more highly-touted quarterbacks.
The Dallas team leadership had planned for Prescott to transition smoothly into the professional ranks, if only for a single season. However, their preparations were derailed when Romo sustained a catastrophic back ιnjury in a preseason game. The Cowboys gave their rookie quarterback the start after their starter was out for several months.
From the beginning of the season, Prescott was a bright spot for Dallas, starting every 16 games in the regular season. Leading the Cowboys to an impressive 13-3 record, he threw for 3,667 yards and 23 touchdowns, both of which set rookie team records.
And Prescott shot to a 104.9 passing rating, another record among Dallas rookies, with just four interceptions in that time, good for a franchise-best 0.9% interception percentage. When he was named NFL оffensive Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl at the conclusion of the season, it came as no surprise.
During his eight seasons in Dallas, Prescott has guided the Cowboys to four postseason appearances. In half of those seasons, he has been selected among the top 100 players in the NFL by his fellow players. Most remarkably, though, is that he has continued to play at a high level even in the seasons following the devastating compound ankle fracture that interrupted his 2020 campaign.

Prescott has experienced extraordinary financial success off the field as a result of his on-field accomplishments. But in the early years of his career, he wasn’t making the huge amounts, at least not in comparison.
Before his first season, the quarterback inked an entry-level, four-year contract with the Cowboys for $2,723,393. Again, this was a rather modest deal. According to Spotrac, the contract included a $383,393 signing bonus, all of which were guaranteed.
However, by 2020, the sixth season he had started in the NFL, Prescott was looking for a far better contract. Furthermore, Dallas put a franchise tag on the superstar in March of that year, well before training camp started, for a whooping $31.4 million — 100% guaranteed, according to Spotrac — for that season alone.
Prescott signed a big four-year contract worth $160 million with the Cowboys the following year, securing his long-term future with the team. According to Forbes, he received a $66 million signing bonus, which at the time was the most in NFL history, with $126 million of the total amount guaranteed.
Over his tenure in Dallas, Prescott has amassed an astounding $162 million in wealth. And it only comes from his Cowboys contracts…
