Monday afternoon, despite suffering from a hangover from the Oscars, Travis Kelce ventured out to lunch with some friends in Los Angeles.
Reportedly, the NFL superstar and his girlfriend Taylor Swift attended Gucci’s Oscars after-party on Sunday night. The two were enjoying a whirlwind few days after Swift returned from her Eras Tour in Singapore.
On Monday, Taylor was conspicuously absent, as Kelce opted for a casual ensemble and donned dark glasses before joining his friends at Cecconi’s.For the casual lunch outing, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs donned a cream cardigan, a white T-shirt, and green pants before boarding his Range Rover.
A mystery blonde woman accompanied the preponderance of men as they departed the California lunch establishment. It is widely speculated that Kelce and Swift skipped the Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theater in order to maintain a low profile and attend the afterparty.
According to reports, the couple returned from Singapore in time to partake in the festivities; Taylor, meanwhile, is scheduled to take a two-month break prior to embarking on the monumental European leg of the tour.
They attended ‘The Party’ hosted by talent manager Guy Oseary at his residence in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, which was a Gucci event.
Best Actor victor Cillian Murphy, Billie Eilish, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and others were reportedly among the attendees.
Having won the Super Bowl in Las Vegas a month ago, Kelce continues to bask in the accomplishments of his personal season.Following the hectic season, he attended three Eras Tour performances, the fifth and sixth nights in Singapore, and one in Melbourne.
Hours after being spotted having lunch in Los Angeles, Kelce and his brother Jason won the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award.
Although not present in Austin, Texas to personally receive the trophy, the NFL brothers provided the audience with a recorded message.
Travis made the following jest: “Get the f*** outta here… do people actually listen to this?”
Jason was subsequently appreciative of Taylor Swift’s supporters who voted for them to win.Jason commenced their acceptance speech by stating, “At this moment, we are in fact addressing the entire iHeart Radio Awards audience.” Travis then responded, “Oh my goodness, we wish we could be there with you all, but it is an honor to accept this award.”
The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs further stated, “Podcast of the Year is enormous s***,” before Jason proceeded, “It’s an incredible honor, particularly for two jabronis like ourselves.”
“It is an immense honor to receive this award, and we would be doing ourselves a disservice not to extend our sincere gratitude to the 92 percenters, also known as Swifties, for their support.”
The Kelce brothers had previously been awarded Best Overall Ensemble earlier in the evening, but were defeated by Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay in the category of Best Sports Podcast.
