According to several insiders, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan broke up because of “tension” in their relationship.

On Monday, after the “Real Housewives of Miami” actress removed all traces of their relationship from her Instagram, causing breakup rumors, an exclusive source tells Page Six that “they’re not together.”


According to the source, Marcus Jordan’s father, Michael Jordan, “publicly denouncing it,” “incited” the “tension” in their relationship, which is why they “are taking space from each other.”

The insider adds, “Marcus claimed Michael was kidding when he said he didn’t approve, but it really embarrassed Larsa.”


Additionally, it’s said that tension between the couple resulted from Michael’s quarrel with Larsa’s ex-husband, Scottie Pippen.

“Despite Larsa and Marcus’s best efforts to downplay the situation, the history between Michael and Scottie complicated things,” the insider says.

We are informed that for both Marcus and the reality star, “family comes before everything.”


Regarding Scottie and Larsa’s children, Scottie Jr., 23, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 16, the source states, “At the end of the day, Michael is Marcus’ dad and Scottie is the father of Larsa’s children.”

The insider continues, “It was challenging to navigate the relationship because there is a baseline loyalty for each of them.”
The couple’s second close source informed us, however, that their breakup was purely motivated by their own personal development and had nothing to do with any family input.


The second insider emphasized, “They have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship.”
