N’Golo Kante still drives a scratched old car despite receiving a high salary at Chelsea.

Among the current Premier League stars, there are few players who live simply and pay little attention to their appearance like Kante.

Going to practice every day, the Chelsea midfielder still drives an old Mini Cooper that costs 20,000 pounds, like a normal person who doesn’t even have much money in England. Meanwhile, Kante’s salary at Chelsea is 110,000 pounds a week and he was the best player in the Premier League last season, contributing greatly to helping Chelsea win the championship.

But driving old cars is still normal for Kante. During Friday’s practice session, the midfielder didn’t even pay attention to the image, driving an old car with a dented front wheel. The left mirror was also wrapped with tape to temporarily fix it. Kante’s car was damaged by an unintentional collision before Chelsea’s match against Arsenal in the League Cup semi-finals in midweek.

The salary is high and the old car is no longer in good condition, but Kante still has no intention of buying a new car.

” I’m not a person who likes cars. When I was young, I didn’t have any passion for cars ,” Kante shared. “My Mini is old but still very good. It helps me get used to driving on the far left. It’s very good .”

Football stars with high salaries often spend it on super cars, designer clothes or endless games. But Kante is still very simple even though he has won two consecutive Premier League titles. He is probably quite a rare case in football life.
