After scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LIV, the Kansas City Chiefs were able to defeat the San Francisco 49ers. Mahomes amassed 286 yards through the air, two touchdowns, and two interceptions on his way to being named the Most Valuable Player of the game.

When the Chiefs faced the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, Mahomes and his team were able to overcome a 10-point deficit at halftime and win the game. Another Super Bowl MVP award went to Mahomes.

In order to get to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the past five years, the Kansas City Chiefs won the American Football Conference Championship against the Baltimore Ravens.
