Allen Police are investigating former Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Irvin for misbehavior.
The Allen Police Department spokeswoman told TMZ that “It’s very early in the investigation” and that “at this point we aren’t prepared to release any classification regarding Mr. Irvin.”
This is news to Irvin and his attorney, Levi McCarthern, who strongly denied misconduct by the Hall of Fаme receiver.
“No idea what the specific allegations might be,” McCarthern told the Star-Telegram. After talking to Michael, I can sаy he did nothing wrong. Very terrible that he continues dealing with this.”
This fresh inquiry comes months after Irvin resolved a $100 million defamation lawsuit against Marriott, allowing him to return to the NFL Network and FOX Sports 1.
Irvin sued Marriott and six others for defamation and tortious interference in a business relationship after a female employee accused him of making sexuаl and indecent statements in an Arizona hotel lobby last February.
Similar to previous allegations against Irvin, McCarthern told Pro Football Talk that this latest accusation “will turn out to be much ado about nothing.”
